Dubai International Airport Expansion (AX324)
NG Global has over now 2 years of experience with AX 324, started our involvement with contractors at the pre-bid in July 2004. During pre-bid, NG Global was involved in technical review of specification of SAS/ELV Systems, raising RFI’s, coordination with multi vendors, techno-commercial evaluation. NG Global is currently in Thermo SAS/ELV Integration team at AX 324 site, facilitating workshops and coordination meetings, interfacing with client, consultants and various package managers and vendors. Our team developed a key tool in the Interface Coordination ‘e-DID’ Electronic Detailed Interface Document, which is used at site by client, consultant, subcontractors and various parties involved in the project.

NG Global provided dedicated technical engineers with SAS/ELV expertise to facilitate the identification, rationalization and close out internal and external AX project, interface through coordination meetings, workshops, interface documentation and final sign-off.

When completed in 2008, Burj Dubai will hold the record in all four categories recognized by the New York-based global authority, Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat. These records are: highest structure, roof, antenna and occupied floor. The 160-floor tower, designed by architect Adrian Smith for Chicago-based Skidmore, Owings and Merrill (SOM), is inspired from the geometrics of the desert flower and the patterning systems of Islamic architecture. At approximately 2,625 feet (800 meters) tall, it is just 15 feet (5 meters) short of a half-mile.

NG Global is currently providing BMS Expertise for EVH. NG Global was also involved with EVH at the Pre-bid stage in detailing the scope and vendor proposals.

Scope : Barcol Air Induction VAV Boxes and Controls
Quantity : 1000 Boxes + Controls.

Barcol Air Induction VAV boxes are designed to use the duct static pressure to induce return air flow from the plenum and maintain the flow at the diffusers. This avoid cold air dumping and create high quality indoor climate. The advantages with induction VAV boxes are elimination of a fan, which reduces cost of the box, eliminate the power requirements for the fan as well as reduces the maintenance for the fan. Indction VAV is preferred against the fan powered box due to the cost advantage as well as less noise. Barcol Air factory provides pre-fitted BACnet or LON Controls, fitted and calibrated at the factory that network and transfer data with all BMS systems.

Barcol Air Induction VAV boxes are used in this project. Induction VAV boxes uses the duct static pressure to induce return air flow from the plenum and maintain the flow at the diffusers. The induction type VAV boxes preferred to Fan powered, since there are no fans used in Induction VAV which reduces the cost of the box, eliminate the power requirements for the fan as well as reduces the maintenance aspects. Induction VAV boxes are quiet in operation. In this project, Barcol Air has supplied with pre-fitted BACnet controllers, fitted and calibrated at the factory that network and transfer data with all BMS systems. The BMS system in this project is Johnson controls that is integrated with Barcol Air BACnet VAV Boxes.


Hotel Shangrila, Dubai

Barcol Air has supplied with pre-fitted LON VAV controllers, fitted and calibrated at the factory that network and transfer data with all BMS systems. The BMS system in this project is TAC (Tour and Anderson) that is integrated with Barcol Air LON VAV Boxes.

Barcol Air VAV Boxes are well known for the Low Noise levels and this prestigious project has been acknowledged for the high quality Indoor Climate control as well as extremely quiet indoor conditions. Barcol Air has over 20,000 installations in the Middle East and preferred as the quality buildings such as head quarter Buildings.
